  • Broken Uppa Baby Frame

Received an UPPAbaby Vista ($700) as a gift for our first son in mid 2010. Pretty much never used it for the first year or so because my wife was primarily a baby wearer. So light use for just one, then, we added another to our growing family and invested in some accessories for our second child and our first to be able to ride together. FREEDOM! (although, once again didn't use the stroller for yet again another year or so, as my wife wore my second son and we didn't use the stroller much. Fast forward to mid 2015, and our frame completely broke at a welded corner making it... More...

  • uppababy stroller consumer complaint

I'm usually not one to write poor reviews on purchases but I'm very dissatisfied. I purchased the uppababy vista stroller awhile back, soon after I purchased the car seat attachment also. My husband and I have always taken really good care of our stroller especially because we new we wanted more children and figured when we chose this stroller the investment would be well worth it thinking it would be able to carry all of our children throughout each pregnancy. This is not the case a while back my husband and I took my daughter on a walk, while we were strolling the seat broke,... More...

  • Not what I expected

I purchased the UppA baby hoping it was going to be as wonderful as it seem but was quite disappointed shortly after. The breaks failed on me once. Although the company did replace frame, I still feel them flimsy. Then there's the seat that when I place my daughter it kinda goes to one side, which doesn't look too comfortable for her. And lastly there's the front wheels which shake uncontrollably at times. I have other mom friends that worship this stroller and maybe it's just mine but I won't further recommend it from my experience with it. It's just simply... More...

  • Problems with wheels!

I Purchased my uppababy vista in Dec.2012 (3 months before my son was born) And obviously didn't use it until he was born. I noticed the wobbly and uneven wheels within a few weeks of using it! I thought it was a one time thing. But it kept happening. And it's just gotten worse. I contacted uppababy and told them my problem and they told me to try and switch the wheels. I did, and it never helped. It shakes so badly going at any pace really, and the fact that it hinders my ability to push the stroller properly disappoints me greatly. The one wheel doesn;t touch the ground... More...

  • Squeaky Wheels and Jammed Brake

We purchased the uppababy vista stroller last summer from albee baby to use for our baby boy born late september. From the very beginning the front wheels have made a clicking noise and now the most horrible squeaking sound. I can't determine if it is the shocks or the actual wheels. The brake has also been jamming. We also purchased a First years lightweight umbrella stroller for $50 that makes nouse than our vista. After a lot of research when first purchasing a stroller, I am really dissappointed with the quality so far of the uppababy vista. Please let me know if there are any... More...

  • Brakes

Hello We have the uppababy vista stroller since spring 2010. We got it for our first son. Now he's 2 and has a little brother. We absolutely love our stroller. The thing is, we are starting to have brake problems. If we push down the brake pedal, only the right weel will lock. The left one keeps moving. We never had any problem before. Can it be repaired? You can reach us : Francoeur_melanie_2@hotmail.com Thank you More...

  • Poor construction for a heft price

Where do I begin? Everything about this stroller was and still is a problem. So far everything on this stroller has broke, fell off, snapped, ripped, and teared while my daughter was in the stroller. I had to replace the wheels, the frame, and the seat. With the amount of money I spent on the stroller and replacing the parts I'm well at $1200.00 I should have purchased a Bugga Boo for that price. I actually went to a consignment store and purchased a safety first stroller for $15.00 and love it and use that instead of the uppa baby. Not happy with this product to say the least. More...

  • Vista fell apart with infant inside

This was just 6 months old when it suddenly fell apart while walking on a sidewalk...baby boy inside! The main folding joint that connects the two metal bars actually burst open, causing the stroller to list dangerously to one side and almost tip over with my child inside. This was only lightly used on city sidewalks...not clear if this should be recalled as I've seen other reviews mentioning the same failure. As a physician that cares for children and infants I can assure you that this should NEVER happen. I called customer service who, despite a poor attitude, seemed to know exactly... More...

  • Help! Uppa Baby Vista falling apart

I purchased my Uppa Baby Vista last summer when I was pregnant. I live downtown Toronto and have used the stroller for walking with my daughter within the city and at the mall. I've noticed in the last few weeks that my front wheel was squeaking (or maybe the shock... not sure) and then today I took the stroller out of my trunk and the lock was jammed and then when I got to the mall the brake stopped working. I love this stroller as it really is a great product. However, I am very disappointed in the quality of this very expensive product. Hoping to get this resolved over the next... More...

  • Uppa Baby Vista Stroller Don't buy!

I got the Uppa Baby Vista stroller as a gift . I could not go on the streetcar due to the size of it's wheels. As I raised the stroller to go on the my child who was one month at the time almost fell off the bassinet. Another thing is that I could not go in most restaurants in Toronto...It would not fit through the door. It has prevented me from enjoying my life. So I decided to call the company realizing that the new model has narrower wheels. I spoke to the owner of the company, Bob apparently, he couldn't offer me any help. He suggested, I purchase the new wheels for $40.00... More...

  • Uppa Vista Not so Great

I live in Brooklyn, NY and basically walk everywhere. The Uppa Vista looks great and is great for going up and down sidewalks and curbs but it is extremely heavy to carry up and down the stairs that go up to my building and it doesn't really have a carrying handle if you have the seat in when you collapse it. Also, it's very wide so it isn't easy to use when shopping... but if you are just walking around the neighborhood it's great. If we were to buy another stroller I would go for something similar but more narrow and easier to collapse and carry. I have not been... More...

My uppa stroller cruz split in two while walking my 2 month old baby. This caused the seat to drop back onto the storage basket. If I didnt catch it she would have slipped out. I will say they do have good ccustomer service sent out replacement seat right away. However im a little scared to use the stroller again even though I love it for walking.

I would recommend that any one who is unsatisfied call the company. We had a stroller break after our beach vacation last year (the tire was not rolling properly) and within 2 days had a brand new frame. The company stood by their warranty, answered all of my silly questions and were very timely in their response. They even provide postage paid labels to return the broken item!

poor quality!!! Since we bought it, we already replaced rain cover, canopy, a frame (welding part was snapped off); and when a new frame has arrived, brake on on wheel does not lock!!!) I am so upset with Uppababy. Never ever spend such money for such a poor quality thing.
